SHOUT OUT TO A FEW OUR CHAMPIONS:

Joe Chief Bear of Little Wound won the American Government, American History, Lakota Language/Culture, World Georgraphy, and World History knowledge bowl exams. White River High School won as a team with 1,212 cumulative points. LNI Youth Dance Information
T
his years dances will be on Weds. Dec. 17th, Thurs. Dec. 18th, Friday Dec. 19th and Sat. Dec. 20., nightly starting at 9:00pm and ending at midnight each night. The LNI Youth Dances will be held at the Rushmore Hall across from the new ice rink. The charge will be $4.00 per person, as in past years. This year safety will be a top priority. This year security will be stepped up and there are some new rules for entering the dances. These include NO PURSES, BACKPACKS, or any other CARRY TYPE BAGS. No WEAPONS allowed, people who have any will not be allowed into the dance, no exceptions. NO outside food or beverages allowed in the dances, CONCESSIONS will be available in the dance. NO COLORS (GANG COLORS), NO BANDANAS(RAGS) and each student will be visually searched, any drugs or alcohol will be turned over to the Rapid City Police Department. again SAFETY is a top priority.
